A muted blue-gray anodize. Slate Blue reads cool and clean without being loud, with a modern finish that pairs well with steel and titanium hardware.
Spyderco built the Para 3 LW with injection-molded FRN scales over a thin internal liner — light, but flexible under hand pressure. Aimfront's aluminum scales replace the FRN and delete the liner entirely, replacing it with a second phosphor bronze washer that cleans up the action and helps with blade centering. Through aggressive pocketing and the linerless design, our scales add only 0.20 oz over stock — you get the rigidity of aluminum without a weight penalty.
